June updates

We are very busy these last few weeks of school and having a lot of fun wrapping up the year.  I did not send a note about this, but I didn't send home a fact practice sheet this week for homework.  Their math worksheets and reading log are due this Friday. We will be having our last spelling test this Friday as well.  As a reminder, our first grade class picnic is on MONDAY JUNE 16TH FROM 11 - 12 PM.  We really hope that you will be able to join us.  Please plan on bringing a picnic lunch for you and your child and a blanket or towel to sit on.  We will start in the classroom with a end of year celebration and then move to the garden in back of the school, where we will all have a picnic lunch together, followed by a BIG sheet cake for dessert.  Please let me know if you wont be able to attend so we can make plans to have your child buddy up with a friend!
